The Caring Community Kitchen, opened in September 2008, is a weekly soup kitchen service where volunteers serve a hot meal to anyone in the community who is in need, regardless of their beliefs or church affiliations. Please come to celebrate the Caring Community Kitchen as well as enjoy the wide variety of talent from our students! Please let me know if you are available to come. This is a great opportunity to practice your pieces before the recital and is strongly recommended.

Recital – Dress Rehearsal

On December 11 from 6:00-7:00pm, there will be a dress rehearsal at the church.
Please let me know if you are available to come. This is a great opportunity to practice your pieces before the recital. We STRONGLY recommend this as it helps most students greatly before major performances.
Downers Grove Community Church, Caring Community Kitchen’s One Year Anniversary

On September 23rd from 5:30 pm-6:45 pm, ADK Studio will be providing the background music for Downers Grove Community Church, Caring Community Kitchen’s One Year Anniversary. Please come to celebrate the Caring Community Kitchen as well as enjoy the wide variety of talent from our students! We will be featuring piano, violin, and vocal students. There are also a few compositions that have been arranged and composed by the students. The students will be able to express themselves through music while touching and enriching other’s in the community.
ADK Studios offers affordable weekly lessons from teachers who are highly qualified with degrees in music. Please contact Conservatory Director Abigail Demirgian-Kuehn for registration/information at (630)-886-9968.
Looking Back…

With Fall finally making its appearance, it’s hard to believe that we have just completed our first year at Downers Grove Community Church! This year has been filled with an exciting mix of hard work and the wonderful gift to share our love of music with the community of Downers Grove.
Since our Grand Opening in August 2008, ADK Studios has grown. When we opened in August, we had about twenty piano students. Not only has the number of piano students nearly doubled to forty, but also our full studio now features about fifty-five students. We are also excited to announce three new teachers who are joining the studio this Fall:
- Michael Thoms (Vocal)
- Charlotte Muir (Cello)
- Barbara Abarro (Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute)
